Quick start
Pick a Source, then (for Yahoo Finance) a Market and exchange, then a Symbol and Timeframe. The dashboard loads automatically. Leave "Auto-refresh" checked to keep it updating every few seconds, or use "Refresh now" for a one-off update.
The strip at the top of the page (wide screens only) shows tips and links. Sponsored items are clearly labelled.
Data sources
- Yahoo Finance — free, no account needed. Stocks and indices for several countries.
- MT5 (this PC) — uses a MetaTrader5 terminal installed and logged in on the same machine running this backend.
- MT5 via Bridge (remote PC) — works even when this dashboard is hosted in the cloud. You run a small Bridge app on your own Windows PC (where MT5 is installed and logged in); your browser talks to it directly at 127.0.0.1:8765 and sends the price data straight to the dashboard for calculation. MT5 itself is never exposed to the internet. Use the Download Bridge button, keep MT5 open and logged in, double-click the downloaded file and keep its window open. Windows may show “Windows protected your PC” because the file is not code-signed yet — click More info, then Run anyway.
- ICICI Breeze — needs your own Breeze API key, secret, and daily session token.
- OANDA — needs your own OANDA API token and account ID (Practice or Live).
- Custom API key (Finnhub / Twelve Data) — needs your own API key from that provider.
- Crypto — Binance — free, no account or key needed. Data comes straight from Binance to your browser.
Credentials you type in are sent with each request only — they are not stored on the server.
Data notes
- Yahoo Finance data can be delayed. It does not offer the M2 timeframe (that heatmap column stays blank), and M1 history is limited to about 7 days.
- Yahoo Finance may limit requests. When that happens the dashboard shows the last data it has, with a notice saying how old it is, or a short "temporarily unavailable" message, and retries automatically.
- Forex on Yahoo Finance has no volume (VWAP and Volume show "n/a"). For full forex data (volume, M2, long history) use MT5 via Bridge or OANDA.
- MT5 and MT5 via Bridge show the symbols of your own broker's terminal. The Bridge must be running on your PC, with MT5 open and logged in.
- A Bridge symbol is missing? The Bridge lists the symbols that are visible in your MT5 Market Watch. In MT5 open Market Watch, right-click > Symbols, double-click the pairs you want to show them, then click "Check again" in the dashboard.
Is the Bridge safe?
The Bridge is read-only: it can't place, modify or close trades, and it never sees your MT5 password, balance or positions. It runs only on your own PC (127.0.0.1) and answers only this dashboard. It shares nothing except price candles for the symbols you view.
Reading the heatmap
- ▲ green / ▼ red — direction (EMA vs price, SuperTrend, MACD, Momentum).
- RSI, Stochastic, Williams %R — green = strong/overbought zone, red = weak/oversold zone, gold = neutral.
- Bollinger %B — green near the upper band, red near the lower band.
- ADX — purple = strong trend, gray = weak/no trend, gold = in between. ADX shows trend strength, not direction.
- A blank "—" column means that timeframe isn't offered by the current source (e.g. Yahoo Finance has no M2 data).
Side panels
- Signal — overall score from 0 (strongly bearish) to 100 (strongly bullish), combining the EMA stack across all timeframes with RSI 14, MACD histogram, +DI/−DI and the three SuperTrends on the selected timeframe. Below 38 = Bearish, above 62 = Bullish, in between = Neutral.
- Signal by horizon — separate reads for short-term (sniper), medium-term (intraday) and long-term (swing) timeframe groups.
- Momentum — CCI, MACD histogram, Accelerator/Awesome Oscillator on the selected timeframe.
- Bands & trend — Bollinger %B, Donchian %, ADX, +DI/-DI, ATR, spread.
- SuperTrend (x3) — three SuperTrend settings, each showing UP/DOWN and distance from price.
- Price action — Heikin-Ashi candle color, price vs session VWAP, and volume vs its 20-period average.
- Pivot points — classic daily P/R1/R2/S1/S2 levels from the prior day's high/low/close.
Last bars chart
Shows the last 8 candles (the last 5 on a phone) on one shared price scale, oldest on the left, newest on the right, with open/high/low/close/volume listed underneath each one (ranked high-to-low, not by fixed label order). Volume shows "n/a" when the source doesn't provide real volume.
Favorites
"⭐ Add favorite" saves the current source, symbol and timeframe. Click "load" on a saved favorite to restore it instantly, or the trash icon to remove it.
Telegram alerts (step by step)
It sends you a Telegram message when your alert condition becomes true.
- In Telegram: open @BotFather, send /newbot, choose a name and a username that ends in "bot", then copy the Bot token it gives you — the whole line, for example 123456789:AAxxxx, including the number before the colon.
- Open your new bot and press START. The bot cannot message you until you do.
- Open @userinfobot, press START, and copy the number shown as your ID. That is your Chat ID.
- In the dashboard: paste the Bot token and Chat ID into the Telegram alerts card, press Send test message, and check that the message arrives in Telegram.
- Set Condition 1. If you like, tick Add second condition and then Add third condition. A separate AND / OR switch sits between Condition 1 and 2 and between Condition 2 and 3 (click it to change it). The conditions are evaluated from left to right: (Condition 1 AND/OR Condition 2) AND/OR Condition 3. The line "Evaluated as" under the switches always shows how your setup is read. Press Check once to test it, then Start alert. Press Stop alert to stop.
Example: Condition 1 = RSI 14 higher than 60, Condition 2 = MACD hist higher than 0, Condition 3 = EMA 20 Direction higher than 0 (the ▲ in the heatmap). With OR then AND it reads: (Condition 1 OR Condition 2) AND Condition 3 - the alert fires when the whole expression turns true. Change the first switch to AND and it becomes (Condition 1 AND Condition 2) AND Condition 3, so all three must be true. Conditions are combined from left to right.
- Check once sends one Telegram message every time you press it (a manual check, marked as a test).
- Send test message sends a sample message with xx.xxx placeholders so you can see how alerts look.
- Remember token and chat ID on this device is optional and off by default. It saves them only in this browser on this device. Do not use it on a shared or public computer. Untick it to delete them.
- Keep the bot token secret and never share it. If it leaks, open @BotFather, send /revoke and pick your bot to get a new one. The token is only used to send your message and is never stored on our server.
How alerts work and their limits
- A message is sent only when a condition changes from false to true — not on every refresh while it stays true.
- Alerts are checked only while this page is open in a browser tab. Closing the tab, or a locked or sleeping phone, can stop the checks. There is no 24/7 background alert.
- While an alert is running, "Last check hh:mm:ss" next to the alert buttons (and in the browser tab title) shows when it was last checked. If this tab was inactive for a while, a notice tells you roughly how long, because a change during that time may have been missed.
- If you leave the page while an alert is running, the alert stops. When you come back (and Auto-start is off) a notice in the Telegram alerts card tells you so, with a Restart alert button and the time it was started. Pressing Stop alert yourself, or the alert stopping because you changed the symbol, removes the notice. Dismiss hides it.
- Tips: keep this tab open. In Chrome, open Settings > Performance and turn off Memory Saver for this site (or add it to the "always active" sites). On a phone, keep the screen on and the browser in the foreground. Where the browser supports it, the screen is kept awake while an alert runs and the page is visible.
- Auto-start alert when I open the app is optional and off by default. If it is ticked, the alert was running when you last used the page, and your token and chat ID are remembered on this device, the alert starts again by itself when you reopen the page (it still runs only while the page is open). The first check after such a restart only records the current state; messages follow when a condition changes from false to true.
- Alerts are indicator readings only, not advice.
Pop-up and sound alerts on this device
- Tick Pop-up notification + sound (this device) in the Telegram alerts card, and press Allow when your browser asks about notifications.
- Press Test pop-up + sound to try it. Click anywhere on the page once first so the sound can play.
- The pop-up and sound happen on this device only.
- Tip: if you hear the sound but see no pop-up while you are on another tab, check the browser's notification permission for this site and your operating system's Do Not Disturb / Focus settings.
Remembered on this device
- When you reopen the page in the same browser, your last Source, Market, Symbol, Timeframe and refresh interval come back.
- Your alert conditions (metric, timeframe, comparison, value and the AND / OR switches) and the auto-start choice are remembered in this browser too. The token and chat ID are never part of this; they are saved only if you tick "Remember token and chat ID on this device".
- In the online version your favorites are stored in this browser too.
- Clearing your browser data resets all of this.
Stale-data warning
If a refresh fails (bad credentials, an unreachable bridge, a network error, etc.) a red "⚠ Not updating" badge appears next to the price and the heatmap/side panels dim slightly — the numbers on screen are from the last successful update, not live. It clears automatically as soon as a refresh succeeds again; the usual error toast still explains what went wrong.
